This project is an approximately 10,000 sq. ft. new office/retail building.
° The construction of this building consists of concrete footings and floor slabs, frame walls with brick veneer, frame roof with sprayed-on foam insulation under the deck and asphalt shingles, metal / wood doors and hardware, fixed exterior glazing, and an elevator. Also included were grading, utilities, curb and gutter, paving and sidewalks. This is a cost effective type of construction for small office buildings.
° This building contains large open office areas, private offices, conference rooms, common areas, toilet rooms, and storage areas. Interior finishes include gypsum board walls, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile, VCT, and carpet.
° This building has extensive data and alarm systems to support the operations of a diverse group of businesses who occupy the building.
SCC was the General contractor and responsible for all construction activities, permitting, coordination with local governmental agencies for installation of utilities and inspections, testing, submission and approval of submittals, safety, quality control and procuring, assembling, and submitting all close-out documents to the owner. SCC self-performed the masonry and carpentry work for this project.
